Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel barque that ran ashore October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast en route to the Columbia River. She was abandoned on Clatsop Spit near Fort Stevens in Warrenton about four miles (6 km) south of the Columbia River channel.

Peter Iredale Shipwreck is a ghost-like landmark of the North Oregon Coast. The ship ran ashore on Clatsop Spit, south of the Columbia River channel on October 25, 1906. Located within Fort Stevens State Park, the wreckage is considered one of the most accessible and long-lasting in the world.

The Peter Iredale was a four masted steel ship in the Pacific Coast Wheat Fleet whose home port was Liverpool, England. She was originally 287 feet long, 30 feet wide, 23 feet deep - but that of course has changed over the years since her grounding.
