What is it? It's a very big, very green, 1980 Rolls-Royce Camargue. You might not think it, but the Camargue was in production from 1975 to 1986, though only 531 were ever built. It was a bold idea by Rolls, as it was - bespoke coachbuilt cars notwithstanding - the first car since the war to be designed by an outside party.

Vehicle Overview. This Camargue, in its striking Acrylic Cobalt Blue shade with Magnolia leather piped with Dark Blue hide, was registered in June 1985, so came near the end of production. According to its Rolls-Royce order form, which is present in the paperwork, it was ordered via Jack Barclay in August 1984 - there was a lengthy build time.

The Rolls-Royce Camargue is a luxury two door sedan introduced in 1975. When it was released, the Camargue was the flagship model for the Rolls-Royce range. The Camargue was built on the same platform as the Rolls-Royce Corniche and Silver Shadow and was powered by a 6.7L V8 engine. Production of the Camargue ended in 1986.
